Pi-eX invites key art stakeholders to share its methodology and discuss its findings on the state of the art market

Posted by Pi-eX Research on 6th Jun 2020

As the global pandemic affected the art market, Pi-eX Research started a series of Virtual Rountables to share its findings on public auction sales at Christie's, Sotheby's and Phillips and discuss what the trends meant for the art market.

Pi-eX Roundtables focus on insights from the analysis of historical auction sales at Christie’s, Sotheby’s and Phillips. The purpose of the Roundtable is to bring together a small group of art stakeholders and engage participants in a direct discussion about historical auction results (annual, quarterly and monthly) with the goal to gain a better understanding of market trends and outlook.

On May 12th 2020, Pi-eX Virtual Roundable looked at what could be learned about the state of the art market when analysing data as of end of April 2020.
