June 2021 puts an end to the Covid-19 "W-shaped" crisis at public auctions and confirms the recovery, outperforming the June 2019 levels by 2.6%.
As of end of June 2021, revenue from public auctions at the top 3 auction houses (US$11.34b) outperformed the 2019 equivalent (US$11.05b).
The welcome growth was boosted by the return of the Marquee sales in May and June complemented by newly curated auctions and online-only sales.
